As with many Novomatic slots there are two versions of this game - the original and Columbus Deluxe which is the version you will find online.
I'm not sold on Columbus for two reasons. Firstly, to get the bonus feature (free spins) you need the Ship symbol on specific reels, in this case 1, 3 and 5. Secondly, when you do get the feature, even though you get an extra wild symbol thrown in it has rarely given me anything decent. It's lower variance than games like the Book Of Ra or Lucky Ladys Charm slot so you get more playing time but the compromise on lower variance is that there are less "big wins'.
