Novomatic's games rarely appear in individually tailored cabinets and instead on the well-recognised Coolfire
MultiGaminator and Super V+ Gaminator slots machines. When I visit land-based casinos in Europe, the Super-V+ Gaminators are the first ones I look for
although with a wide variety of game packs
even Country-specific configurations, you never quite know which Gaminator slots you are going to find.
In the UK, there is a fairly specific set of Gaminator game packs because there is a max-bet limit of £2 a spin and a
maximum payout capped at £4000 (as of May 2012). You tend to see a lot of the same configurations on the Gaminator machines
as a result although when you go to some of the bigger casinos around Europe you get a lot more variation as you would expect.
I've even seen progressive jackpot versions of the Gaminator slots here in the UK now.
Table: Online Casinos with Gaminator Slots
One thing I find quite interesting about the Novomatic Gaminator machines is the RTP setting. On most of the kiosks you
see in land-based casinos you will notice they display a "minimum payout percentage". The options are 90/92/94 and 96% and
each game on that specific machine will generally fall into the band of whatever is stated +2%. Online, each slot from
Novomatic has a fixed percentage regardless of where you play it so, for example, the
Deluxe version of Book Of Ra
is set to 94.26% online, everywhere. Which incidentally, is
the same as the Classic 9-line version (each of the games here on the Novomatic Slots website
the online RTP in the panel next to the video).
As you may have already gathered, quite a few of the popular Gaminator slots are available to play online now
(for where you can play them, see the list of casinos listed to the right or around the website
we are also waiting for others to arrive. Novomatic do seem to have quite a strong online development arm now but unlike
other manufacturers they also seem slower bringing the Gaminator-based games to market.
The MultiGaminator games below are all available online but among those that are missing are some of my personal favorites like
Mariella, Era of Dragons, Gryphons Gold, Egyptian Experience and Rich Witch. I can understand why Gryphons Gold and
Egyptian Experience aren't online as games like Dolphin's Pearl
Lucky Lady's Charm
are the same game in essence - and they even have an
online-only game called "Sea Sirens" which you won't find on MultiGaminator machines. But something
like Rich Witch with it's unusual bonus feature would be a big plus for online slots players IMO.
Nonetheless, I expect to see more of the Gaminator slots gradually creep into our online lives as they are so popular
in land-based and the list below will probably have grown quite a bit by this time next year.
