Rainbow King Slot Review
If you are familiar with Reel King
or rainbow Riches then you'll probably be able to guess what I am about to say! Novomatic and Barcrest are owned by the same company (Spielo) and being two of the most popular UK slots to come out of land-based casinos and bookmaker shops, a marriage of the two has produced the Rainbow King slot
If you liked either of it's two parents then you'll probably like Rainbow King. If, like me, you;re more into the volatile feature slots like Book Of Ra
(or Book Of Ra Deluxe
), Lucky Ladys Charm
or Dolphins Pearl Deluxe
then Rainbow King, Reel King and Rainbow Riches don't really appeal.
It's not so much because of the fruit-style presentation. Slots like Sizzling Hot Deluxe
and Power Stars
are still decent games but Rainbow King is lower variance and more suited to the more casual player. Those of us who like volatile games with Big Win potential tend to shy away from these types of games.
But I am in the minority. UK land players tend to like the games that provide a decent balance between entertainment and win potential and Novomatic slot games
in general tend to err towards the latter so having the Rainbow King slot in the stable isn't a bad idea.
Like most things in life that crave an opinion, it's subjective. If you like games like "Cleopatra" and "Wolf Run" by IGT and you don't like to see your balance drop faster than the temperature in London in January, then the Rainbow King slot may well be right up your street.
